Variants and pricing

The 2022 Venue will be offered in five variants. There will be E, S, S+ or S(O), SX and SX(O). On the diesel engine, the mid-variant will be called S+ and with petrol engines, it will be called S(O).
The prices of the current Venue start from Rs. 7.11 lakhs ex-showroom and goes up to Rs. 11.84 lakhs ex-showroom. Once the facelift is introduced, Hyundai will hike the prices slightly.
Engine and gearbox
Hyundai will continue to offer the Venue with three engine options. There will be a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, a 1.5-litre diesel engine and a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. The turbo petrol will be offered with S(O) and SX(O) and the diesel engine will be offered with an S+, SX and SX(O). The naturally aspirated engine will be offered with all the variants except the top-end SX(O) variant.
The turbo petrol produces 120 PS of max power and 172 Nm. It comes mated to a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed Dual-Clutch automatic transmission. The diesel engine produces 100 PS of max power and 240 Nm of peak torque. It will be offered only with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 83 PS of max power and 113 Nm of peak torque. It will be offered only with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Hyundai has also added three drive modes. There is Eco, Normal and Sport. As of now, we do not know which engine and gearbox combination will the manufacturer offer for the new drive modes. The rotary knob for the drive modes is placed right behind the gear lever.
New features

The new features that are added to the Venue are a two-step recline function for the rear seats. So, the rear occupants get an additional level of comfort. Moreover, this feature will also help in increasing the boot space by shifting the backrest forward. There is also a new D-cut steering wheel that is taken from the Creta.

Then there is a new digital instrument cluster which is taken from the Kia Carens. There is Home to Car voice commands that you can use via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. There are more than 60 BlueLink connected car features. The touchscreen infotainment system remains the same. So, it is still an 8-inch unit but now gets 10 Regional languages and Sounds of Nature.
Design updates

The exterior has received some major changes. Up-front, there is a new parametric grille that we have also seen on some other Hyundai vehicles. The projector headlamp and LED Daytime Running Lamps are still the same but the turn indicator assembly has been revised. There is a new front bumper too.

On the sides, there are new alloy wheels. At the rear, the tail lamps are all-new. They are split units and use LEDs. The biggest change is the new light bar that connects the rear tail lamps. The rear bumper is also new with new reflectors and reversing lights.
