The Tech-Line variant lineup of the Kia Seltos facelift, identified by the HT prefix, exudes a less sporty appearance than the GT-Line variant spotted a few days ago. The Tech-Line version showcases different front and rear bumpers, devoid of the red highlights and rear dual exhaust pipes seen in the GT-Line version.

In addition to these changes, the Kia Seltos Tech-Line shares the revamped front fascia with a new grille, refreshed headlamps, daytime running LEDs, and new 18-inch alloy wheels borrowed from the GT-Line.

Currently, the Tech-Line version is equipped with simpler grey alloy wheels, while the GT-Line boasts fancier machined alloy wheels. However, with the arrival of the facelifted version, both the Tech-Line and GT-Line will receive machined alloy wheels in their top-spec variants.

The interior of the Kia Seltos facelift will undergo more comprehensive changes, including a new dashboard and the introduction of newer onboard features. The facelifted Kia Seltos will sport a modern-looking driver’s cockpit featuring a fully-digital instrument console and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Updated features in 2023 Kia Seltos

The updated Seltos will introduce new features such as a panoramic sunroof, an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite of safety features, and dual-zone automatic climate control, which are absent in the current Seltos model.

It will also retain features like a head-up display, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, 360-degree parking camera, and a premium BOSE audio system. In terms of powertrains, the Kia Seltos facelift will offer the same 1.5-liter 115 PS petrol and 1.5-liter 115 PS diesel engines as the current model.

However, the 1.4-liter 140 PS turbocharged petrol engine, which was available until recently, will be replaced by a more powerful 1.5-liter 160 PS turbocharged petrol engine that recently made its debut in the Kia Carens.

Similar to the current model, the updated Kia Seltos will compete with other midsize SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, and the upcoming Honda Elevate and Citroen C3 Aircross. With the new changes on board, the Kia Seltos facelift is expected to be priced higher than the current model, which starts at Rs 10.89 lakh.
